Video game violence effects the youth. Kids do what they see, so when they see a violent video game they can now have a violent motive. Some people think that video games should not be sold to kids. Almost half of the parents think that their kids should not play or be around violent video games.
Studies show that 40% of parents asked said that they do not condone their kids playing violent video games, such as Grand Theft Auto. 53% of parents surveyed say that they don’t believe the video games contribute to them being violent. But not According to procon.org, they say “60% of middle school boys and 40% of middle school girls who play at least one mature-rated (m-rated) game hit or beat up someone, compared to 39% of boys and 14% of girls did not play mature-rated games”.
