Is college education worth the money and the work? In some cases, people think a college education is worth it because they need the education to get the job they want. However, they should think about the money to pay for it and that includes the books.
College is worth the investment because you can get a great job that can help out for other things later in life. According to procon.org, “Having access to these services helps give graduates direction for changing career paths when needed or wanted. The degree also gets them further education in the future.” A College education is worth the investment because you can have a career path that you choose.
College is not worth the investment because too much money is involved and it is possible to be in debt for at least 15 years and that will affect your retirement money. Procon.org also says, “People who argue that college is not worth it contend that the debt from college loans is too high and delays graduates from saving for retirement, buying a house, or getting married.” A college education is not worth it because there is too much money involved in college with paying for the classes, books, and housing. It is too much money to take out of your retirement amount.
