Many people have pets that they adore and care for but there is also a large number of people who don’t have a pet to enjoy and love. Some people believe that having a pet is troublesome and too much work but in reality, the animal is there for you, to become a part of your family.
I own and love the one animal that I have, it is a male, yellow lab named Clyde Daniel Swaenepoel. Many of my friends have animals too, sometimes even more than one. I know that at one point my grandparents had five dogs, 12 chickens and four cats. But there is a large percentage of the country that doesn’t have animals. Lolly pop Farm is one of the many local organizations trying to help lost, abandon, and abused animals that have not yet found a safe environment to spend the rest of their lives at. “Lolly pop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, is committed to building lifelong bonds between people and animals through education, community outreach programs and the prevention of cruelty.” At lolly pop farm, they try to provide a safe and loving environment for all animals especially the ones that have been through rough, abusive times.

They also make sure that there are no animals not included or left behind, all animals are cared for, respected and loved equally.
